"Considering the price tag at release this is a very nice rum. From opening the bottle you get the ester and fruits and once rested the flavours just sneak across the table. Intense, fruity with nice ester and glue notes, light wood with spices. In the empty glass i can pick up faint chocolate notes. Oily on the palate and it draws really nice curtains in the glass."

"For its young age an excellent rum... it offers everything you expect from a Jamaican with this mark! Top!!"

"These sherry finished Jamaicans are not worlds apart, but I dig it. In this one, the sherry influence is somewhat less, according to my impression. In the mouth it comes across a bit spicier, the wood influence is well noticeable despite the young age. For me a little weaker than the comparable newer bottlings with lower mark"
