Tolle Farbe (Mahagoni) im Glas. An der Nase vor allem Trockenfrüchte wie getrocknete Aprikosen und Datteln, dahinter leicht Gewürze. Am Gaumen ein tolles Teil. Hier findet man die Trockenfrüchte wieder, aber auch Holz, Gewürze, etwas TicTac Wintergreen und eine leichte Bitterkeit. Das ganze ist wirklich sehr rund, harmonisch und komplex, die knapp 65% sind sehr gut eingebunden. Im Abgang bleiben etwas TicTac Wintergreen und schließlich schön lang eine elegante Holzwürze. So eine elegante Holzwürze kenne ich sonst nur vom Rasta Morris TDL 2001. Das ist wirklich ein ganz toller und eleganter Rum von Savanna. Einziger Wermutstropfen bleibt der hohe Preis.
