21.06.2025 Tried this at my private tasting where one of the participants brought this exclusive bottle. Nose Fresh, balanced, light citrus, light sugarcane, faint smoke, light caramel, light raisin Palate Round, balanced, oily, light wood, faint smoke, light citrus, light caramel, faint chocolate, fresh. Finish Long and warm, light wood, dried fruit, light caramel, light chocolate. Getting hands on these private casks is always exciting especially the local ones as they usyally yield less than 12 bottles (mostly because you can sample them during maturation at the destillery). I have even heard of projects where the cask was empty when it was bottling time 😂
On the woody side with a good caramel sweetness. A small bit of funk in the aftertaste. A good round easily drinkable rum
