Sehr gelungener T.D.L., der mit dunkler Würze, Karamell, Lakritz und leichten Fruchtnoten aufwartet. Trotz spürbarer Kraft angenehm balanciert und mit schöner Tiefe. Zeigt, wie gut das Zusammenspiel aus Reifung und Destillat funktionieren kann. Ein erfreuliches Beispiel dafür, dass auch moderne Abfüllungen richtig überzeugen können.
Klassisches 2001er TDL mit schöner Minznote, erkennbarem Fasseinschlag und angenehmer Gewürz- und Fruchtsromatik. Auch das Cognac-Finish funktioniert gut. Erkennbares Alter, gut eingebundene Bitternoten im Abgang, die man mögen muss - tolle Komplexität.
