It was distilled in 1997 from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 27 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 58%. Another rum too complex for the long night of tastings but it hit the Caroni notes I’d hoped for. The industrial notes were present throughout and well balanced by some bright fruity notes like hard strawberry candies.
