CDI Bellevue Guadeloupe (Bottled for Germany)
The "Guadeloupe (Bottled for Germany)" was produced in Guadeloupe at the Bellevue distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Compagnie des Indes. It was distilled in 1998 from Sugar cane juice with a Column Still and then aged for 18 years. The rum has an ABV of 55,5%. This is a limited release and there are only 279 bottles. 11 community members rated this rum with an average of 8.2/10. The rum smells like Honey, Caramel and Tobacco, and on the palate there is Woody, Spicy and Honey.

Schöner Bellevue schöne zitrus und Honig Noten. Sehr süffig und leicht rauchig an whisky erinnernd. Dazu etwas Kirsche, Schwarztee, Kumquat und Ledersattel mit schwarzem Pfeffer und generell sehr ausgewogen und komplex.
Für einen Franzosen kaum grün, sehr würzig und ein wenig Süße. Gar nicht so französisch und sehr ausgewogen. Intensiv und Komplex.
Schöner klassischer 1998er Bellevue. Für mich nicht der stärkste aus dem Batch, aber als Liebhaber des Damoiseau-Profils kommt man hier auf seine Kosten.
Eine tolle Nase, gefällt mir sehr gut, da kommt der Gaumen nicht ganz ran, dafür ist er mir ein wenig zu scharf/pfeffrig. Alles in allem ein interessanter Rum.
