Nose Fresh, round, light wood, vanilla, orange, light floral, grapes, light leather. Palate Oily, light wood, faint roasted, balanced, orange, light floral, vanilla, banana, light dry, faint herbal. Finish Long, light dry, banana, faint herbal, light berries, spice, faint floral. Empty glass Chocolate, light caramel, light medicinal, faint berries.
Lovely delicate Mount Gay. Heavy on the yellow fruits. Light toffee/caramel/floral notes. Tasted on Whisky Rum aan Zee 2025. Would love to try again.
Ungewöhnlich floral und blumig für einen mount gay, eher gelbe Früchte und leicht pflanzlich. Das Cognac Fass kommt definitiv voll zur Geltung. Lässt sich insgesamt sehr angenehm trinken aber haut mich nicht vom Hocker.
Verkostung auf dem German Rum Festival 2025. Schöner Blend, weich vollmundig mit dem klar zu identifizierenden Mount Gay Profil. Sticht aber nicht heraus. Der aufgerufene Verkauspreis steht dazu in einem schlechten Verhältnis
