Velier Mother Mesccia Blanc 2025
Most enjoy its soft vegetal/olive profile and balance; critics find it a bit thin and tame for Haiti. Consensus: a pleasant, elegant white rum, better as mixer or casual sipper.
Fans of lighter clairin/agricole-style rums who enjoy vegetal, salty-olive and citrus notes and want a balanced white rum for sipping, Ti’ Punch or refined cocktails.

How does this rum taste?
Soft, vegetal clairin-style with a salty twist
If you like Clairin Sajous but wish it were softer and more balanced, this will likely work for you—same cane‑juice DNA, just dialled back and easier to mix or sip.
Those chasing high-ester Haitian funk, big fruit bombs or very intense, complex sippers; also flavor hunters who dislike grassy or vegetal profiles.
A rum with its own particular identity. The Haitian provenance is felt but everything is toned down, brought back to a less exaggerated level. The alcohol while not particularly high makes itself felt. To be tried while waiting for the aged versions

What began as a digital tasting diary is now the world's most comprehensive platform for rum fans: over 25,000 bottlings, 270,000+ independent reviews, and an active community with 50,000 members. We combine the collective intelligence of our community with an integrated marketplace, allowing you to shop securely and manage your collection directly from the app.
The goal? To offer you, the rum connoisseur, a place where you can choose with confidence—without paperwork, detours, or expert jargon.
