It was distilled in 2010 from Molasses with a Double Retort Pot Still and then aged for 14 years. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 52,9%. Clean and well-made rum that feels smooth without any sharp edges. Nothing really jumps out as a flaw, but also nothing grabs you by the collar either. The tropical-citrus profile is pleasant, with some woody and slightly bitter notes rounding out the finish. I wouldn’t call it exciting, but it’s solid and reliable. A nice daily sipper that delivers just enough to earn a respectable 8.2 in my books.
