- Sweet dessert-like profile
- Smooth and mild finish
- Complex aroma of honey and caramel
Ron Quorhum 12 Años Solera is a Dominican rum produced by Oliver & Oliver using a column still, distilled from molasses and aged for nearly 12 years. With prominent aromas of honey, crème brûlée, and sugarcane, it presents a balance of caramel, woody notes, and sweet confections on the palate. Users appreciate its mildness and dessert-like sweetness, though some feel it's overly sweetened and lacks distinct character. This limited release, with only 9000 bottles, combines Spanish-island style with subtle complexity, making it an intriguing option for rum enthusiasts seeking a smooth sipping experience. Ideal as a dessert companion, it charms with its subtle spice and oak finish.

"Enjoyed this rum over dessert in Italy. Way more enjoyable than any of its older brothers… Don’t think I ever enjoyed a Spanish-style rum as much as this one. Spanish-island rum + pot still is a revelation."
