“Nase: Fruchtig und süß mit Johannisbeeren, Kirschen und Karamell. Dazu gesellt sich eine würzige Gaumen: Fruchtig und süß wie in der Nase mit Karamell und dem Gefühl als wäre er im Sherryfass gelegen (PX). Würzige und Holznoten (Eiche) runden das Ganze ab. Abgang: kurz und süß mit mehr Holz. Fazit: überraschend süffig, hätte ich so nicht erwartet.”

“Pas beaucoup de caractère sur ce rhum dominicain qui me semble fortement dosé en sucre, ce qui lui confère une côte très facile à voire certes, mais qui a aussi pour effet de lisser tous les goûts. C'est caramélisé, mielleux et doux. Rien de plus.”

“Enjoyed this rum over dessert in Italy - was sad to see it’s just a limited edition. Way more enjoyable than any of its older brothers… Don’t think I ever enjoyed a Spanish-style rum as much as this one. Spanish-island + pot still is a revelation.”
