#5669 14.09.2025 Tasting in Copenhagen with good friends. Nose Fresh, light wood, fruity, light earthy, light chocolate, light pineapple, light ester, faint rubber. Palate Round, fresh, light oily, light spicy, wood, light roasted, light chocolate, light earthy, faint smoke, banana, light citrus. Finish Long and warm, light oily, wood, light roasted, dried fruit, citrus, light tea, faint tobacco. This one also benefits from warming it in the hand while swirling it around in the glass.
The nose promises a lot with tropical fruits, as well as cherry, wood and light roasted aromas. On the palate, the alcohol is very strong and does not subside even after 40 minutes in the glass. In addition, the same aromas as in the nose, as well as spices.
Drinkable Worthy Park, with light estery notes, I find fruit (stone fruit, tropical), but also chocolaty notes. The alcohol is unfortunately very present, even a long standing time doesn't make it any better (dilute with water if necessary?).
Nice Worthy Park that has nice fruit, coconut, cask infusion. For my taste it has slight whisky hints?! Perhaps stored in whisky barrels?
