Nicht ganz so Charakterstark wie die jüngeren Le Galion. Scheint als hätte die relativ lange Langerung das Profil etwas geglättet und gezähmt. Die rauchigen, fleischigen und auch vergorenen Ausprägungen sind wesentlich dezenter. Aber nachwievor, für den Preis, ein sehr geiler Rum. Viel Würze die einem hier entgegenkommt. Umami im Mund. Macht super Spass zu trinken. Die Früchte kommen hier erst als zweite Garde. Gut integrierte Ester. Lecker.
#5688 22.09.2025 Enjoying a few samples while listening to some good EDM. Nose Medium intense, round, vanille, light plum, pencil shavings, citrus, light caramel, light earthy. Palate Intense, warm, oily, citrus, plum, light vanilla, wood, light roasted, faint peach, olive, light salt. Finish Long and warm, medium intense, spice, oily, light olive, light salt, banana, faint plastic. Empty glass Citrus, caramel, vanilla, light nutts, prunes.
Juste Wow. Deuxième grand arôme que je goûte , j'avais oublié ce que ça faisait.... Très Bon. Dommage qu'il ne soit pas plus abordable. Nez: légèrement alcoolisé, à laisser un peu aéré (2-3 minutes) ,ester , très léger boisé,fruit tropicaux Bouche: intense ,huileux , du bon poivré,caramel , très léger boisé ester ,fruit tropicaux,chaud et prune. (Un délice) Finale : prune, chaud ,caramel,rond Verre vide:chaud ,caramel ,rond ,prune mais après un certain temps, ça a évolué et je n'arrive pas à deviner mais une odeur plus épaisse.
