“#4563 19.01.2024 Got a set of samples from a former colleague in Sweden and today I'll give them a go. My tastebuds are still hyper sensitive, which can be both good and bad. This one was a huge surprise. I have travelled in these areas and the quality of their alcohol has gone op significantly over the years. Fruity and floral on the nose with a touch of sake which surprised me a bit as I like sake. The palate is fresh and has some anise to it. The finish is medium long and equally fresh with a light medicinal note. The empty glass has some chocolate and faint tea notes.”

“Hätte nicht gedacht, daß in Vietnam auf Karibikniveau Rum produziert wird. Dieser hier ist kaum von den Agricoles aus der Karibik zu unterscheiden. Zitrusfrüchte, tropische Früchte und Zuckerrohr, nur kommen hier am Gaumen noch Kräuter dazu. Echt top.”

“A remarkably rich Vietnamese rum. The nose is intensely floral, grassy and earthy, with tropical fruit, citrus and lychee in abundance. Sugar cane is also perceptible in this bouquet. On the palate, peppery and spicy notes form an ensemble that is both dry and powerful, fresh and delicious, intense and flavorful. The finish is long and intoxicating. A gustatory pleasure and a wonderful discovery of Vietnamese terroir combined with French savoir-faire.”
