I'm Oliver – together with Jakob, Robert, and Lukas, we started RumX in 2018 as a small passion project in Stuttgart, back then under the name Rum Tasting Notes.
What began as a digital tasting diary is now the world's most comprehensive platform for rum fans: over 24,000 bottlings, 250,000+ independent reviews, and an active community with 46,000 members. We combine the collective intelligence of our community with an integrated marketplace, allowing you to shop securely and manage your collection directly from the app.

Big Hampden 8 Marks Collection x CoR C<>H Cross Tasting: strong similarity to the Madeira cask, but again stronger wood influence
Last review from this series. On the nose: Port, Esters and touch of sweetness up front .Some berries and young wood. Feels quite heavy and full bodied on the nose Taste: Cask influence is really present. Esters. Raisins and bit of nutty notes towards the end. Quite heavy and full bodied, but the alcohol is integrated quite well in this. Finish: Long finish. Raisins and sweetnees upfront but quite dry in the end. Another good, full bodied rum with a heavy cask influence. Havent tasted the rums from this series side by side, but if my memory is correct, there is not a wholelot of differences between then.
