It was distilled in 2007 from Molasses and then aged for 11 years. The rum has an ABV of 64%. Herrlicher Savanna Grand Arome. Alkohol ist nicht zu leugnen er braucht etwas Zeit. Nase noch etwas verhalten aber trotzdem gut . Am Gaumen spielt er sein Potenzial voll aus herrlich Fruchtig Ester Erdbeeren Kaugummi und etwas junges Holz . Flutet den Mundraum mit vollem Aroma . Sehr lecker .
#5920 04.11.2025 Enjoying a few samples in front of the TV. Nose Balanced, wood, light roasted, anise, light apple, faint peach, light caramel, faint floral, light cherry. Palate Oily, light dry, warm, wood, light orange, light anise, apple, light chocolate, light ginger, light caramel. Finish Long and warm, wood, cinnamon, light cherry, light mango, light chocolate. Empty glass Cinnamon, light chocolate, light caramel, light orange, faint floral.
👃 Whaou! De jolis arômes typique des GA Réunionnais ; yaourt à la fraise, bubblegum fruits rouges, ananas surmûri, fruits secs légers, sucre roux, esters, épices roses, poivre et cannelle. Des notes élégantes de vernis, de laque et de peinture. Salinité d'olives vertes, saumure légère. Une belle intensité et une acidité contrôlée. 😋 Une explosion de fruits tropicaux surmûris (ananas) et de fruits rouges (fraises) portée par le kick de l'alcool qui est extrêmement bien intégré. Belle association d'esters fruités et de vernis/solvants. L'assemblage multi-fûts permet au boisé de ne pas être trop marqué, tout en apportant de jolies épices et une belle structure. ⛳ L'intensité de la bouche se prolonge, conférant un mordant sec, chaud et prononcé. Les fraises au yaourt laissent place à plus d'expression des fûts ; vanille, cannelle, anis, café, cuir, menthe légère, tabac en feuille. 💡 Un très bon GA qui n'a pas à rougir face aux embouteillages officiels. Il lui manque un peu plus de complexité pour jouer dans la cour des grands Savanna.
Dieser Savanna muss sich wahrlich nicht hinter den ganz großen GA verstecken, auch wenn er hinsichtlich der Vielschichtigkeit und Raffinesse nicht ganz mit diesen mithalten kann. Wirklich erstaunlich, dass er bisher so unter dem Radar lief, denn der Rum hat richtig Qualität - zu einem absolut entspannten Ausgabepreis. An der Nase ist der Alkohol sehr gut integriert, am Gaumen transportiert er wunderbar kräftig die typischen gelb- und rotfruchtigen GA-Aromen, außerdem in diesem Fall eine angenehme Fasswürze. Künstlicher Gummibärchengeschmack kommt erst ganz zum Schluss und nur ganz kurz. Ein rundum gelungener, äußerst solider GA. Wer noch eine Flasche findet, sollte mit dem Kauf nicht zögern. Empfehlung!
