How does this rum taste?
- very fruity TDL
- price to quality is very good
- full of life like they describe
This Trinidad Ed. 6 from T.D.L, bottled by The Colours of Rum, stands out for its expressive fruitiness—peaches and orange peel dominate both nose and palate. Vanilla and roasted notes feature warmly, while menthol and woody touches circle around but never steal the show. RumX members call it an "intense and fruity TDL nose" (DomM) and highlight a balance of youthful liveliness and approachable sweetness. The high ABV means the alcohol stands out at first, though it settles with time, revealing deeper fruit and spice layers. "Charaktervoller, leicht biestiger Rum mit prägnanten Orangenanklängen" (Mirco) sums up its feisty but inviting side, especially for those who lean towards young, vibrant spirits.

To T.D.L
"Intense and fruity TDL nose. Orange peel, peach and a perfume-y sensation. That’s quite tasty for the young age. There is some alcohol on the nose but after some breathing this is fine given the age and ABV. Also very intense on the palate with fruits, a hint of menthol and milk chocolate. All in all a very nice TDL for its age."
"A very fruity TDL, with not as much mint as I would have liked. The nose is intensely fruity with notes of peaches and vanilla. A nice TDL but maybe a bit too young for me. Price to quality is very good with this one."
