Samaroli Demerara Rum
The "Demerara Rum" was produced in Guyana. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Samaroli. It was distilled in 1994 from Molasses and then aged for 11 years. "19.11.2011 This is a tasting i got as a bitthday present and it was held on my birthday. This happened shortly after I had to flee China with my son. My notes on this release. Roasted wood and plums with some mineral notes. Licorice and anise throughout the profile. Palate is oily and lightly dry with some added earthy notes, dried fruit and leather. Medium to long finish with dried fruit and leather."
