And then there's this really cool Savanna to round off the day and the vacation. I find it totally underrated according to the ratings. So the 74.9% feels more like 55%. Classic Savanna profile, a top rum.
Erst einmal vielen Dank an @TheGreatSpooner für das Sample. Und dieser Lontan ist genau mein Ding… die volle Ladung mit der schönen Fruchtigkeit von Erdbeeren (Erdbeergummi) und tropischen Einschlag. Gepaart mit salziger Olive. Der Alkohol prickelt anfangs schon etwas, passt aber noch. Der Abgang ist sehr lang. Gleich noch den Daiquiri-Test, aber ich vermute jetzt schon, dass es ein Highlight wird 😁 PS: Im Daiquiri eine absolute Granate..

Palate Intense, warm, fresh, light oily, fruity, olive, light salty, light berries, light vegetal, ester, light herbal. Finish Long and warm, fruity, ester, light pineapple, olive, light salty, light medicinal. Empty glass Fruits, strawberry, light iodine, faint caramel. Needs to rest for a good while to really open up properly. Does a really good job in a Rum'n'Cola 😊
Naja, ist schon ziemlich heftig das Teil, meiner Meinung nach eher ein Mixer als zum Pur genießen. Denke zum Aufspriten für einen Daiquiri ganz nett. Den Rest mit Cola runtergeschüttet, da war er ganz o.k. Für den Preis, aber absolut fair.
