Swell de Spirits Diamond Arcade Series #3 (V&B France) PM 2011
Highly praised Port Mourant: dark, roasted and chocolate‑coffee driven with well‑handled bitterness, good integration for almost 60% and a long, dry, woody finish that rewards slow sipping.
Fans of dark, roasted Demerara profiles who enjoy coffee, bitter chocolate, licorice and structured oak at near‑60% and want a concentrated Port Mourant with plenty of character.

How does this rum taste?
Dark, coffee‑driven Port Mourant power
If you enjoy intense Demeraras like other modern Port Mourants, this is a darker, coffee‑forward take that keeps the bitterness in check while delivering serious depth at cask strength.
Those sensitive to high ABV, looking for easy sweetness or bright fruit, or who dislike tannic wood and a noticeable bitter edge in their rum.

Atypique !
As I write this review, I still have the taste of a latte with a hint of chocolate syrup in my mouth - a completely new experience. The coffee flavor runs through the entire tasting, accompanied by varying degrees of chocolate and wood notes. There is also some fruit and caramel on the palate. Conclusion: really delicious!
