The Whisky Jury Sipper‘s Rum 2025
Most enjoy it as an easy, funky-leaning sipper with good value. Critics find the alcohol a bit rough, sweetness high and complexity limited. Consensus: a solid, approachable Jamaican‑forward blend.
Rum drinkers who want a relaxed daily sipper with clear but not extreme Jamaican esters, some sweetness and spice, and good price-to-quality for neat pours or casual cocktails.

The nose gives hope, with beautiful fruity ester notes. A little unrounded on the palate, light esters, peach, marzipan, wood, bitter notes, in any case Jamaica dominates.
The name says it all and pretty much hits the mark. It definitely delivers what it promises. A sipper of the darker, spicy kind that can be enjoyed in a relaxed manner. This is partly due to the low ABV. Overall "nice"😉
