How does this rum taste?
Tropical fruits, estery notes, brown sugar, and a touch of woodiness headline this blend, with the Jamaican element taking center stage for many. Palate impressions lean towards honey, molasses, and allspice, described as 'easy-sipping' and 'uncomplicated' by Skyfly and Leo Krüper. The ABV keeps the experience approachable, if not particularly intense. Some pick up young or vegetal undercurrents and a sweetness that divides opinion—Stijn Zino calls it 'too filthy for non-rum drinkers,' while others, like Jef Dijckmans, praise its accessibility and thoughtful blend.

The name says it all and pretty much hits the mark. It definitely delivers what it promises. A sipper of the darker, spicy kind that can be enjoyed in a relaxed manner. This is partly due to the low ABV. Overall "nice"😉
The nose gives hope, with beautiful fruity ester notes. A little unrounded on the palate, light esters, peach, marzipan, wood, bitter notes, in any case Jamaica dominates.
