How does this rum taste?
Tropical esters and ripe banana lead the charge in Swell de Spirits' "Easy Peasy No. 7"—a blend echoing Jamaican vibrancy with notes of overripe fruit, buttery undertones, and a fresh, creamy finish. RumX reviews praise the aromatic interplay and value, noting both sweetness and lively warmth, though some find the palate tamer by comparison. A limited 57% ABV sipper that rewards those seeking fruity, dessert-inspired rums—worth exploring if you love bold blends.

3. GAF Stuttgart
Blend that works not too badly. The whole is quite gourmand with notes of pastry, milk chocolate, butterscotch and fruity banana pineapple papaya. Some pep with a little ester. I'm still more enthusiastic about the Jamaican blend that I tasted after this one.
Last tasting on the Swell stand at RhumFest Paris 2025. We finish with a lovely blend that pleasantly blends esters and ripe Jamaican fruit with sweeter, rounder notes. It works rather well.
Solid high ester blend but still a little young. Overall, however, nice fruit notes and slightly buttery. Alcohol is well integrated and the price is really fair. But all in all rather for mixing cocktails and not for pure.
