It was distilled in 2018 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 6 years. The rum has an ABV of 54% and the mark is DOK. "nach dem 9GRF SBS ein weiter 2018 DOK mit PX finish, nun allerdings schon 6 Jahre im Fass statt der 1,5. Neben den vergorenen Früchten an der Nase auch eine süssliche Würze. Am Gaumen erstaunlich zupackend, trotz der ‚nur‘ 54%. Gefällt mir ganz gut, fast schon süffig für einen DOK 😄"
"Un nez plus frais qu’attendu, même si les esters sont bien présents. Fruits tropicaux légèrement fermentés, fruits jaunes. Le bois est en soutient. On sent la douceur du fût de sherry mais elle est ici complémentaire. Le sherry adoucit la bouche et les esters y sont moins prononcés qu’au nez. Un petit côté poivré relève le côté doux du sherry. La bouche est pleine, savoureuse, même si la complexité n’est pas au top. La finale est longue, équilibrée entre les fruits secs, le boisé, les esters et les fruits frais. Une très belle sélection de la Cave Guildive."
