First: Thank you T❤️m So nachdem ich eine Nacht drüber geschlafen habe mein Fazit. Generell ist der Rum nicht schlecht und ich bin froh dass ich ihn probieren konnte. Leider ist er durch den niedrigen ABV ein wenig schwach auf Brust und wirkt ein wenig dünn/verwässert, was eine bessere Bewertung nicht möglich macht. Aber trotzdem nochmal ein dickes Dankeschön an Tom.
Pretty nice on the nose. Some dirty LP funk with wood and some tropical fruits. I also get a perfum/soapy note in the mix. On the palate this anniversary bottling comes with quite some complexity. Again some funk and fruity notes alongside wood and notes from the cask. Some spiciness akin to candied ginger adds another layer. While I enjoy the composition quite a bit, I have to admit that this isn’t working brilliantly with the low ABV. A lot of intensity and excitement is lost I guess. That’s a shame, yet If you don’t compare it to cask strength LPs, this is still very enjoyable as a lighter blend. 20/06/2025: Road Rummers Jamaican supertasting @ TastToe. Is this a Long Pond!? On the nose: sharp, alcoholic and rather sweet. The palate had an unpleasant note for me that I can't put my finger on. The flavour profile is not what I look for in Long Pond and was very disappointing.
Road Rummers S8T6 Jamaica supertasting I recognise some marks in the nose, but still rather light. When you taste it, you don't get a successful blend. Rather sweet, light and accidic. It's hard to appreciate but i'll finish my glass.
