How does this rum taste?
- TDL typischen Noten
- Minze und Menthol in der Nase
- schöne Mischung aus Kirsche und Eukalyptus/Menthol
RumX members regularly call out caramel, woody notes, mint and menthol in this T.D.L-based Trinidad rum. The minty side is gentler than in some T.D.L releases, but still clear: “Minze und Menthol in der Nase erkennbar, aber nicht so stark wie bei anderen Abfüllungen” – Timo Groeger. A hint of peach appears on the palate, alongside tannins and brown sugar. There’s some debate about the alcohol integration—"der Alkohol beißt nicht, ist aber auch nicht ganz optimal eingebunden” (Schnubbii)—but most agree the balance improves with time in the glass.

To T.D.L
"Solid bottling with typical TDL notes. Somewhat beastly on the finish, however. Mint/menthol are present, but not extreme like other bottlings. I find faint peach on the palate, which I like."
"Fun fact: "There is a mango plantation next to the distillery, which is said to affect fermentation and flavor development""
