Enmore El Dorado Rare Collection EHP
Classic dried fruits, caramel, and wood dominate, with spicy chocolate and menthol touches joining in. It’s approachable but less complex than the most coveted Enmores—one to try if you enjoy a balanced, woody Demerara rum.
Warm, balanced, woody, with a chocolate and dried fruit kick.

How does this rum taste?
- very well balanced
- lovely nose that brings different kinds of dried fruit
- very atypical profile for an Enmore
El Dorado Rare Collection EHP 1993 is all about a warm, inviting nose with caramel, dried fruits, and wood taking center stage. Most find it “very well balanced” (Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰) with “a lovely nose that brings different kinds of dried fruit along with chocolate, leather, coffee and spices” (Sebastian.W). The palate shifts toward more spice, wood, and chocolate, revealing a surprising hint of menthol or citrus in some glasses. Some users mention it as “less complex and expressive” than its 1996 sibling (Maxence), and a touch of bitterness or short finish does come up, but overall this Enmore stands out for its classic profile with a fresh twist.

To Enmore
"I like the standard range from El Dorado better, including the fantastic 25yo."
"Very inviting nose with dried apricots, raisins and delicate chocolate notes. The palate can then unfortunately not quite keep up with the fantastic nose. Slight alcoholic spiciness perceptible - was briefly even with unsweetened, Spanish style at barrel strength. But that is criticism at a high level. Relatively dry, spicy and pleasant wood notes.Very nice Enmore!"
"A really well done enmore from eldorado! An elegant and balanced rum in all its aromas!"
"Very oily, wonderful red-golden color. A great nose!!! Very warm, perfectly balanced. Alcohol not noticeable. Very nice and spicy in the mouth. Strong and warm. Not woody despite the long storage in the tropics. Warm, beautiful finish. The perfect Demerara sipper and a "beautiful" rum.😀😀😀 However, it lacks that certain something to ascend to the Olympus of the Rare Collection."
