A lovely rum showing off what this destillery is capable off. I always admired them for the consistency in their old rums. Fruity from nose to finish. Less plum compared to the 1980 and slightly more wood without being dominant. Love the balance of the spices.

L’équilibre est total entre le fruit et les épices, un nez séducteur tout en subtilité, une bouche crémeuse et longue où le marqueur pruneau sait se faire discret. Les trois décennies de séjour en fût l’ont magnifié. Mon favori de la Favorite.
