Chairman‘s Reserve Master’s Selection (Cask & Bottle) 2011
Highly regarded as a solid, characterful Saint Lucia cask strength with classic Chairman’s DNA, good complexity and dry wood-spice-fruit balance, even if it’s less expressive than top Master’s Selections.
Fans of dry, woody, cask-strength Saint Lucia rums who enjoy layered spice, leather and red fruits, and want a thoughtful, less aggressive Master’s Selection for quiet sipping.

Good quality as always from Chairman’s out of St. Lucia. However, this bottling was the weakest of the evening. It just feels a bit „damp“ compared to other Master‘s Selection bottlings. Presumably there have just been to many different stills and casks involved over all. Still a very good rum but not in the very top bracket of what SLD can do.
