How does this rum taste?
Most reviewers talk about the strong grape and whisky character, with the sweet wine cask finish dominating over classic Jamaican rum flavors. People notice litchi, buttery notes, and some floral touches, but say the ester profile is barely there. It comes across as a smooth, unusual sipper that's quite different from traditional Jamaica rums, mostly enjoyed by those curious about bold barrel finishes—worth trying if you like unique experiments.

Scotch an der Nase, Cabernet Sauvignon am Gaumen. Wirkt leicht gesüßt. Süffig, aber unspektakulär. Dank an BananaJoe für das Sample!
a hint of Jamaica and a nice balance between the acid andvthe fruits, buttery, on the nose. But quite subtle and not convincing. Palate is just left with herbs, buttery flavor and a touch of ester. Smooth sipper
