"This was a very nice surprise and another good rum from Ekte in Denmark. Only 320 bottles made and the destillery is classified as "secret" but we know it's located in the town of Pesé. The nose is well balanced with bourbon, fruits and spices. The palate is complex and a full bodied rum with musty oak spices and a hint of dates. The finish is long and dry with a lot of flavours like grapes, spices and pepper. One of the best Panama rums I've had a in the past 30 odd years. Price to quality is very good. "
