By rum lovers, for rum lovers
I'm Oliver – together with Jakob, Robert, and Lukas, we started RumX in 2018 as a small passion project in Stuttgart, back then under the name Rum Tasting Notes.
What began as a digital tasting diary is now the world's most comprehensive platform for rum fans: over 25,000 bottlings, 280,000+ independent reviews, and an active community with 50,000 members. We combine the collective intelligence of our community with an integrated marketplace, allowing you to shop securely and manage your collection directly from the app.
The goal? To offer you, the rum connoisseur, a place where you can choose with confidence—without paperwork, detours, or expert jargon.

Bought a 20cl bottle of this rum based liquor at my recent visit at the ReimonenQ distillery and fished it outside our bungalow at the Langley Resort, Fort Royale. The base is ReimonenQ blanc to which there’s infused tropical spices and the ABV is reduced to 25%. The nose is sweet, spicy and fruity with scents of spices. At the palate it’s complex, smooth, sweet and spicy with flavors of cinnamon, saffron, cocoa, nutmeg, peppers, allspice and ginger. The finish is rather long and smooth with the flavors persisting. For me it’s a little too sweet neat, which my rating is based on. So it’s better used as a mixer, at least for me.
