It was distilled in 2003 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 13 years. The rum has an ABV of 50%. This is a limited release and there are only 270 bottles.

“Wow, spannender Fiji. Kein junger wilder mehr, aber auch nicht rund und harmonisch wie einige Ältere zum Beispiel aus 2001. Sehr eigener Geschmack mit viel Dreck, Gummi und Plastik. Dazu Zitrusfrüchte, Vanille und eine karamellige Süße. Es erinnert ein bisschen an Obst in einer alten Kunststoffbox, die am Strand in der Sonne liegt und langsam (ungesund) ausdampft. Immer wieder seltsam, dass das schmeckt, aber ich mag Fiji einfach! Nur der Nachgeschmack stört mich etwas, eine pflanzliche Note, die ich nicht näher definieren kann. Dafür gibts ein, zwei Punkte Abzug, aber sonst wirklich lecker.”
