Al naso è profumato con legno e uva (inizialmente sembra di entrare in una cantina di vini), spezie, vegetali, albicocche, frutta secca, frutti prematuri e salamoia, con una nota dolce e candita sul finale. Molto interessante. Al palato è tendenzialmente dolce, con datteri, frutti secchi, uva, cacao, legno giovane, spezie e una piccola nota aspra sul finale. Ha un corpo leggero e volatile, ma è una bevuta piacevole, per essere il primo rhum agricolo invecchiato 100% italiano non c'è male, hanno il potenziale per migliorare nel tempo.
