By rum lovers, for rum lovers
I'm Oliver – together with Jakob, Robert, and Lukas, we started RumX in 2018 as a small passion project in Stuttgart, back then under the name Rum Tasting Notes.
What began as a digital tasting diary is now the world's most comprehensive platform for rum fans: over 24,000 bottlings, 250,000+ independent reviews, and an active community with 46,000 members. We combine the collective intelligence of our community with an integrated marketplace, allowing you to shop securely and manage your collection directly from the app.
The goal? To offer you, the rum connoisseur, a place where you can choose with confidence—without paperwork, detours, or expert jargon.
Tasted a few weeks ago directly at Excellence Rhum, I had the opportunity to give more time to this surprising rum. This second tasting pleases me a little less than the first, which really left me with an impression of pure funky juice. This time, I find it very Worthy Park but I find the cane more discreet. The vegetal dimension is still very much present and brings a very surprising touch to this type of rum.
Delicious, fresh, nice sugar cane noteb
What an atypical Jamaican discovery! Almost cloudy color, neither too light nor too dark. The nose is esterized, varnished, but with an incredible presence of yellow fruit, bordering on the exotic, but with lots of sugar. The bouch attacks precisely on a Jamaique, but quickly moves on to gourmandise, sugar and even candy! I've never tasted such a gourmet Jamaican! A revelation! Finishes on brown sugar, with a hint of pastry.
