How does this rum taste?
What stands out most for buyers is the sweet vanilla and caramelized aroma that hits right away, with some noting spicy undertones and soft, coffee-like notes. People often describe it as quite sweet and a bit burnt, making it popular for mixing into rum cocktails like Cuba Libre or Dark 'n' Stormy. Reviewers highlight its visually striking bottle, and while some find it a bit harsh neat, it's considered a good, value-minded mixer worth trying if you enjoy richly sweet rums.

Nice bottle, rum earns sufficiency, but is to be avoided for a tasting.
A slightly balanced and medium-bodied rum. Sweet vanilla roasted aromas with a tangy finish. OK for mixing but too flat on its own. Even in this rather low price segment there are better ones.
Odeur un peu acide mais fruité et plutôt doux en bouche . Un peu sucré , fait penser à de la liqueur de cerise
Tried another experiment with mixing, but this one didn't really convince me either. In my opinion, it's not really convincing on its own. As I said, I mainly bought it as a mixer, but I'm probably a bit spoiled and can no longer pour everything into the CubaLibre.
