A very easy-drinking rum. But it lacks everything that makes a great rum. It has that Jamaican rum taste reminiscent of rum raisins. I like it, but I'd get bored of it very quickly. Too diluted, too bad.
The Appleton V/X is "the rum for mixing" par excellence. It goes particularly well with coconut water and Old Jamacia Ginger Beer.
