Great release from Nobilis: a Guadeloupean agricole aged in ex-Caroni casks. Despite the high ABV, the alcohol is well integrated. Nose shows tropical fruit, wood, and freshness; palate is minty, herbal, woody.
Very good brut de colonne Guadeloupe from Montebello. That said, the real drawback of this rum is that the caroni cask is totally unnoticed... A real shame.
Beautiful, slightly aged brut de colonnes, but the caroni is nowhere to be seen.
01-02-2025 Nobilis Warehouse Tasting #2 - Rum 4 The weakest rum of the evening. Still haven’t tasted a Montebello that i enjoy. Can’t taste the Caroni cask. To young and to high ABV
