Un rhum légendaire de Martinique qui est exceptionnellement bien conservé. Le nez donne une sensation de « vieux » dans le verre mais est encore bien expressif, très complexe et aromatique. Bien que le nez soit porté par les notes de cuir, de tabac et les notes plus végétales, florales et boisées, les fruits sont encore bien présents, notamment les fruits jaunes, les fruits secs, la mirabelle et la prune. L’attaque en bouche est d’une élégance rare, très délicate, fruitée, avec de belles notes boisées et florales et de cuir. Les épices sont également très douces. La finale est aussi très complexe et très longue, avec un profil similaire au palais et au nez, preuve d’un rhum authentique et fantastique. Une expérience à part avec une icône de la Martinique.
