#5587 23.08.2025 Gotten 8 new samples from a friend to test. Heavy trance is playing on Spotify. Nose Intense, fresh, Agricole, citrus, light melon, faint tobacco, sugarcane, spice. Palate Oily, intense, fresh, Agricole, medium spicy, light melon, light floral, citrus, light grass. Finish Long and warm, medium intense, light grass, light oily, light papaya. Empty glass Floral, melon, sugarcane, light honey. Needs to rest for a good while or add a few drops of water. Opens up very nicely over time and ABV is well integrated.
⚡ Montebello Pure (BDC) - 79% A true monster of power, but all elegance! On the nose, it's greedy and clean, without aggressiveness despite the 79%. You can smell the fresh cane, but also vegetal notes, green apple and lemon zest. On the palate, it's a vegetable fireworks display: cane, freshness, spices, a hint of smoke... Full-bodied, precise, with a rare elegance for such a high alcohol content. An interminable, vibrant finish. It reminds me of the intense pleasure I felt on discovering the Longueteau Genesis a few years ago. A personal crush. We love it... but we're going slowly, out of respect!
