The "Jamaica HLCF" was produced in Jamaica at the Hampden distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler The Rum Cask. It was distilled in 1998 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 16 years. The rum has an ABV of 64,3% and the mark is HLCF. "Ein ziemliches Brett! Sehr fruchtige Nase, wirkt noch sehr jung und frisch. Das gefällt mir sehr gut, macht ihn aber auch etwas einseitig. Erdige Aromen, Würzigkeit und das Fass sind sehr hintergründig wahrnehmbar. Neben grünem Apfel, tropischen Früchten und Zitrusmarmelade, sind da noch sehr viel Lösungsmittel und Säure, aber auch Süße wie Marzipan und Melasse. Im Mund überwiegt auch hier deutlich die Frucht, sehr intensiv, kräftig, Cremig jedoch nicht ganz so mundfüllend als andere Vertreter...da fehlt irgendwie etwas....Der Abgang ist lediglich mittellang und etwas enttäuschend "
