The Royal Cane Guyana (24 yrs) (52%) My first comment is the price of this bottle, at $299 USD ($425 CAD) I expect this rum to be well above average. The presentation is very inviting with a beautiful box and even more appealing bottle. On the nose I recognize the distinct aroma of a good Guyana rum with burnt sugar flavours at the front. At a pleasing 52% ABV, it is an easy rum to savour. My first sip doesn’t disappoint, yummy, very tasty and complex flavours. Very little trace of alcohol, so flavourful, so enjoyable. If you have a chance to sample or purchase a bottle, it is well worth it.
