Planteray Cuba (Warehouse #1) from the Ronera Villa Clara distillery, selected by Maison Ferrand, offers an 8-year aged Cuban rum experience. Distilled in 2016 with a column still, it presents an aromatic profile featuring apple, tropical fruit, and vanilla. The palate is marked by a harmonious blend of citrus, vanilla, and caramel, with underlying dried fruit notes. Let's start today with a Planteray from Cuba with 43.7 percent. The nose is immediately very fruity in the direction of apple. The fruit is reflected in the taste and there is also a slight hint of vanilla.
Aroma ordinary, dried fruit with vanilla. A hint of apple is interesting. The taste is pleasant thanks to the fresh fruit and vanilla. Less pleasant is the intensity of the sweetness. The finish is rather dry, fruity, spicy with fresh fruit and citrus.
