RumX members peg HSE Blanc as a dry, rustic agricole thatâs all about fresh sugarcane, grassy notes, and a solid hit of citrus right from the nose, with floral and vegetal echoes throughout. Fruits and spice pop up, but itâs that "floral sugarcane and citrus" (Tim) and "strong grassy, lemony and floral notes" (Martin Augustin) that set the tone. The ABV sits pretty well for most, with just a "slightly peppery" touch for some, and many find it shines in a Ti Punch. Straight up, itâs a classic, no-nonsense Martinique white rum.

"In summary itâs a rustic, dry, powerful, intense and balanced Agricole Blanc. Iâve also tested it in a Ti Punch and it was great. The nose is fruity, spicy and floral. On the palate itâs a little bit rustic and the aromas from the nose just explodes in the mouth."
