How does this rum taste?
Planteray Trinidad 2011 (Kopke Port Cask finish) leans hard into fruity, woody, and lightly tropical territory, with a distinct port wine presence. For Michael Ihmels 🇩🇪 it's "sehr holzig und würzig," while Brebur calls it "well-rounded with a definitive Port flavor." Most describe the mouthfeel as easygoing and the profile as fresh, with tropical fruit, confection, and a whisper of technical notes in the background. The finish is on the short side, but that's not a dealbreaker for most—just leaves you reaching for another sip.

Fresh fruity aroma with technical elements and some candy or bubblegum. Taste nice fruity light, minimally technical. Some wine notes. Finish unfortunately short, but not bad at all. Some tropical fruit, a noticeable vinous finish and a bit of technique.
