Ein eher leichter, süffiger Rum mit reifer Frucht und einer angenehmen Holznote. Die Portfasslagerung bringt eine dezente Süße und dunkle Beeren ins Spiel, bleibt aber subtil. Etwas Würze im Hintergrund, insgesamt rund, aber nicht sonderlich tief oder komplex.
Alcohol perfectly integrated! Nice additional fruitiness thanks to the port finish.
Vůně je taková hutná kombinace sušených datlí se skořicí. Chuťově je to takový mix sušeného ovoce, třešní a vína. V závěru se přidá ještě dlouhý pobyt v sudu a skořice. Docela mi to připomíná Foursquare. Špatné to není, ale nebaví mě to.
Stimmiges Geschmacksbild - der spanische Stil mit seinen Karamell- und Vanillenoten bekommt mit der Nachlagerung in Ex-Port die zu erwartenden Trockenfrucht und Nussaromen, die gut harmonieren und süffige Süsse einbringen. Ein Wenig Schwefel ist dabei, der Rum bleibt insgesamt aber sehr zugänglich. Alkohol ist ebenfalls gut integriert - ein gelungenes Release, dem es aber an Nuancierung und Komplexität fehlt.
