It was distilled in 1978 from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 45 years 8mo. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 58,4%. Finish Long, balanced, complex, dried fruit, light caramel, faint coffee, light anise, light ginger. This is the best Cuban rum I've tried so far. Very well balanced and complex with a little bite. If I had the money I would have bought the last bottle
