The "Wild Series Rum No. 58" was produced in Guadeloupe at the Poisson distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Romdeluxe. It was distilled in 2019 from Sugar cane juice with a Column Still and then aged for 5 years 4mo. The rum is bottled at cask strength and has an ABV of 69,8%. "#4949 02.11.2024 Had a great tasting with Kim from Romdeluxe with both old and new releases. Nose Round, smooth, fruits, light orange, faint herbal, light floral, faint caramel, light anise. Palate Smooth, balanced, oily, velvety, light floral, light orange, faint mint, light anise, light wood, medium dry, faint chocolate. Finish Long, light wood, fruits, faint plum, light orange, faint licorice, medium dry, light vegetal. This is a very smooth bottling and I'm happy that I got my hands on it. Finished in Caroni casks shows up very gently in the profile without disturbing the overall profile."
