Rum Nation Ilha da Madeira 2017
Most enjoy its clean, grassy sugarcane and floral freshness; critics find it sharp, thin or too olive-forward. Consensus: a characterful, affordable white agricole if you like green, dry profiles.
Fans of dry, grassy agricoles or Pisco/Grappa drinkers who enjoy floral, olive and vegetal notes in a fresh 50% white rum, both for sipping and classic Ti’ Punch cocktails.

This was a very and I mean a very nice surprise. I rarely sip white rums, but this one brought me over. A wonderfully balanced 3 year old white, which presents itself with a wonderful nose and a surprise to your palate. A nice warm finish with fruits, spice and a bit of flowers to it. Stays in your throat and nose for a long time after sipping. Definitely one I'd recommend rum lovers to try and sip.
einer der schönsten & bezahlbarsten Agricoles überhaupt. erinnert stark an guten peruanischen pisco. im ti Punch kommt die Traubennote richtig schön durch.
Reminds me of Macronesian Gin (volcanic spring water) in its clarity and gives a slightly dirty, vegetable flavor with cucumber and olive like in some Clairins in the finish. Agricole through and through, slightly sweet and very mild in taste. Super fresh nose.
An interesting agricole from a rum Christmas calendar a few years ago. It is a good sipper, but I could see this in a cocktail. In the nose, no doubt this is sugarcane, but also acidy hints. In the notes I got some spices, licorice and a floral aftertaste
