How does this rum taste?
Produced at Casa Barú in Panama, this Premium White Rum is distilled from sugar cane honey using a traditional pot still method and remains unaged. It offers a unique sensory journey with fresh vegetal and sugarcane aromas accented by hints of grappa, milk chocolate, and a subtle smokiness. Our community of rum enthusiasts at RumX finds its lively nose and well-integrated alcohol perfect for creative cocktails, though a few note the palate can feel thin and overly sweet when sipped neat. Overall, it’s best enjoyed as a versatile mixing spirit that brings an unexpected twist to classic white rum profiles.

Rum?
Very planty from nose to finish. It also smells fermented and like yoghurt on the nose. The sugar cane comes to the fore on the palate and it is reminiscent of grappa. Possibly suitable for mixing, but not my cup of tea on its own. However, the alcohol is well integrated.
