"Un Diamond tout simplement monstrueux. Le nez est un pur ravissement olfactif avec un fruité lourd sur la noix de coco et le raisin sec, la douceur du caramel, du chocolat au lait, de la pâtisserie et du sucre brun, mais aussi de puissantes notes épicées et pimentées qui vont de pair avec un boisé fondu sur des arômes rôtis et sombres à souhait. Il y a un soupçon de colle et de noisette qui apportent encore plus de profondeur aux narines. Un régal. L’attaque en bouche est divine, combinant élégance et puissance à la perfection. On ressent d’abord le caramel et le sucre brûlé, avant que le côté sombre et rôti ne gagne du terrain et n’emplisse la palais de sa gourmandise, avec un boisé profond et de belles notes de noisette et de chocolat. Les épices forment le bouquet final avec un feu d’artifices (muscade, réglisse, épices d’hiver). Le profil est chaud, puissant, intense mais incroyablement complexe et délicieux. L’alcool est bien intégré. La finale est interminable, avec ce côté lourd et sombre qui tapisse le palais. Chocolat noir, café, noisette, clou de girofle, réglisse, piment et vanille offre une gourmandise sans nom sur un profil gouleyant et profond. La colle et les fruits exotiques font leur retour pour le plus grand plaisir des papilles. Un Diamond mythique, lourd, gourmand, complexe et gouleyant, qui a tout pour plaire et entrer au Panthéon des merveilles du spiritueux de canne."
