The goal? To offer you, the rum connoisseur, a place where you can choose with confidence—without paperwork, detours, or expert jargon.
It's not my style of rum to begin with. It will appeal to many beginners. On the nose, wood and fruit. On the palate: lots of fruit, very thick style that covers the whole palate. Quite pleasant all the same. Short, uninteresting finish. The rum-passion-fruit "blend" is very noticeable. Interesting because it's distinctive and very fruity.
Very obvious that this is a pure can juice rum, It’s plenty grassy and vegetal on the nose and palate. Stone fruits dominate (passion fruit, peach, apple) but there is plenty of balance from subtle oak, fresh cut grass, buttery finish. As far as ‘flavoured’ rums go, this is really special.
